An essay is presented on the cosmological and knowledge system that highlight the relationship of mutual respect and exchange with the Earth among the Aymara people in Chile. It explores the fundamental conceptual realities of the Fourth World people who are at significant odds with the development ideologies between companies and the state. It also outlines how the country's road constructions have violently disturbed the Aymaran cultural and social space.
