Abstract
- The article reports that the news media failed in predicting the results of the elections in the U.S. in November 2016. It states that major web sites devoted to predicting election outcomes shifted from a likely victory of Hillary Clinton to a likely victory of Donald Trump. The election tallies reportedly raised questions on the value of modern polling. It was added that the polls and the projections had underestimated the strength of Trump's vote.
