Abstract

Objective To observe whether the carbon dioxide (CO2) concentration in the cleaning operating room for conducting laparoscopic operation monitored by the infrared-red ray detector conforming to the national standard. Methods Sixty cases of laparoscopic operation and non-laparoscopic operation completed in our hospital from January 1, 2014 to March 30, 2016 were selected as the research subjects. The 30 working days were selected (labeled serial number of 1 ,2 ,3...30) for conducting the laparoscopic operation (laparoscopic group, 30 cases)and the non-laparoscopic operation (non-laparoscopic group, 30 cases), which were conducted in the cleaning operation room. The CO2 concentration served as the observation indicator and the CO2 concentrations of operation room air in the laparoscopic operation and the non-laparoscopic operation were respectively detected at different time periods (7 time periods including postoperative 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 ,5 ,6 h and over 6 h). Their change condition was performed the comparative analysis. Results In the cleaning operating room, different degrees of exceeding standard phenomena existed in the laparoscopic operation group air at different time periods; the CO2 concentration in the non-laparoscopic operation group did not appear the exceeding standard. The CO2 concentrations at various time periods had difference between the laparoscopic group and non-laparoscopic group (P<0.05); the total mean value in the laparoscopic group had differences among various time periods ( F =2.636 , P =0.037 ). Conclusion The CO2 concentration in the cleaning operating room of CO2 pneumoperitoneum for laparoscopic operation exceeds the standard, the corresponding departments should formulating the measures to clean the CO2 concentration in the laparoscopic operation room.
