Abstract
- The article discusses a Neoarchean subduction polarity reversal event in the North China craton. It states that this event resulted in melting of the enriched mantle thereby giving rise to the intrusion of mafic dikes hence providing strong evidence that plate tectonics has operated by the end of the Neoarchean.
