Reflections on our current history.

The author reflects on his experience as editor of the periodical as well as the state of health professional education (HPE). He comments on the growth and diversification of HPE, noting the continued professionalisation of the field due to formal training programs. He goes on to suggest that individuals pursuing a career in in the field remain sceptical and accept uncertainty.
