Abstract
- The article presents two 2016 case studies on how partners attune to each other in couple therapy. Identity blaming was mostly accompanied by increased electrodermal activity. In both cases, such blaming centered on the themes of loyalty, trust, and parenting. It is also argued that it increases the arousal level of the partners., since disloyalty and irresponsible parenting threaten the relationship's stability.
