Abstract
- The author discusses the trends in crime and immigration that are negatively affecting the American society. She cites the report from the National Research Council (NRC) on the alarming increase of incarcerated people in relation to the increased inflow of immigrants. The author thinks that crime and immigration in the civil society are new forms of legal exclusion and racial discrimination.
