Abstract
- The article discusses a study which evaluates the use of the pentavalent immunofixation electrophoresis test as a screening test prior to urine Bence Jonce protein-immunofixation (BJP-IFE) investigation. BJP-IFE was used to stratify patients according to the type of disorder. The results are consistent with the evidence omn the diagnostic accuracy of tests for plasma cell disorders.
