Climate change is a global challenge. So far, global agreements fail to limit the temperature rise to 2°C or 1,5°C. With its products as well as its innovative production processes, the chemical industry makes a decisive contribution to climate protection. Appropriate regional and global policy frameworks are indispensable in order for the chemical industry to fully exploit its innovation potential.
