Challenges facing early career primary care researchers across Europe.

In the article, the author discusses developments in the efforts to train the next generation of academic primary care (APC) clinicians, particularly in Europe, as of September 2016. Also cited are the workshop held by the Royal College of General Practitioner's Junior International Committee that tackled the scope of primary care research training, and the training opportunities in Great Britain like the Academic Clinical Fellowship.
