Abstract

Rotary tillage ridging machine is selected as the research target in the teach of modern agricultural equipment. The ability of design, simulation and test is trained in this period. In the design process, according to the demand of electric tractor, the machine model is built by Pro/E and the static force of key parts is analyzed by ANSYS. In the simulation process, the operating performance of rotary knife roller cutting soil is analyzed by LS-DYNA. The factors affecting power consumption such as knife shaft speed, forward speed, tilling depth and soil, are concluded from soil test. The power consumption is obtained from hanging units test, the results can prove the consistency of theoretical data and actual data. The teaching is not only enriching the kinds of modern agriultural equipment, but also setting up a good platform for rotary tillage ridging machine dynamic performance analysis and matching tests.
