Paratubal Cyst Torsion with Compromise of the Fallopian Tube in an Adolescent Girl.

The article describes the case of an 11-year-old female presented with dull, intermittent abdominal pain. Examination revealed tenderness in the right lower quadrant where laparoscopy showed fluid-filled cyst adjoinimg the right fallopian tube. Salpingectomy and cyst excision were performed successfully. The article also discusses torsion of a paratubal cyst as an etiology of acute abdominal pain, incidence rate and occurrence, and the risk posed by the anomaly.
