Abstract

The article explores the atmosphere and solar-wind interactions of Pluto in 2016. It mentions that the series of stellar occultations by Pluto revealed that even as it edge farther from the Sun, the atmospheric pressure of Pluto started rising, not falling. Pluto has one pole in sunlight constantly and the other in shadow for much of its 248-year-long orbit around the Sun.
