Abstract: Single crystals of the PuIV hexanuclear cluster [Pu6(OH)4O4]12+ stabilized by 1,4,7,10-tetraazacyclododecane-1,4,7,10-tetraacetic acid (DOTA) ligands are grown from an aqueous protonated DOTA solution to which a HNO3 solution of PuO2 is given (pH 0.5, overnight). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
