Abstract

The article offers information on the construction of jet-grout columns and precast structural elements under the Elliott Bay Seawall Project in Seattle, Washington. It mentions views of Lorelei Williams, capital projects manager for Seattle, on the starting of construction with utility relocations and moving of roadways in 2013 and building physical wall in 2014. It discusses replacing the old wall made up of concrete supported by landfill and timber piles due to seismic vulnerability.
