FINANCIAMENTO DA EDUCAÇÃO PÚBLICA.

In this work we discuss what should and what should not be considered funding of education and, as in Brazil there is a lack of legal and rigorous definitions, it allows an arbitrariness that commits disclosed data. We also discuss how to compare funding in different countries, suggesting that the Gross National Product and the per capita income are the best parameters for this comparison. The positive impact of investments is discussed, as well as the Brazil necessity of increase its investments in this sector.
