Propuesta de tipología textual para el campo médico.

The establishment of text typologies helps recognise the dominant text type in a particular text genre. It is particularly helpful in contrastive studies dealing with a genre in two different languages, or with two different genres in the same language. In spite of its usefulness, there is no consensus regarding the establishment of text typologies. In this work, the most relevant specialised text typologies will be commented on, with special emphasis on the medical field. The main contributions and the aspects that could be improved will also be discussed, highlighting research gaps. Finally, our own proposal of text typology for the medical field is presented, from which a clear frame where medical genres can be classified is created. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
