Abstract
- Presents a study which calculated the light propagation in a three-dimensional realistic head model by the finite difference method. Generation of the geometry of the model from axial slices of an MRI scan; Change in intensity detected by source-detector pairs caused by the brain activity; Efficiency of the source-detector arrangement.
