PLOKŠČIŲJŲ STOGŲ ĮRENGIMO IR RENOVACIJOS TECHNOLOGIJŲ ANALIZĖ.

There are about 40 million square meters of flat roofs in Lithuania, such as home buildings, public and industrial buildings and others. The condition of flat roofs which were installed 20 or more years ago is amiss because of old technologies, poor materials witch were used then. That is why these roofs do not meet today's requirements. These days repair works compile about 70 % of all roofing works. However, during renovation of roofs mistakes occurs quite often because not all modernization options are used during the process. This article analyzes installation and renovation technologies of flat roofs, moisture migration and condensation in the roof structure, defects and their causes. The relevant issue is raised - the correct installation of renovated flat roofs, suggestions is introduced on how to design structure of the roof to prevent moisture accumulation and avoid defects. The aim of this article is to analyze the installation and renovation technology for the flat roofs and to perform moisture mode analysis. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
