Abstract
- The article offers information on the Taurid meteor shower which occurs around Halloween, and thus are labeled as Halloween Fireballs. Topics discussed include comparison of the Taurid shower with the Leonid meteor shower, association of Halloween with the Samhain rituals during which the Pleiades constellation achieved highest point in the sky, and occurrence of Taurids during the Hindu festival Diwali.
