Abstract

The growth patterns and parameters in eutectic system are presented with various element bonding energies <f>φBB</f> and <f>φAB</f> by Monte Carlo simulation. There are three kinds of simulated structures: dendritic, lamellar and divorced types. We discuss the relationship between the simulated structures and the experimental microstructures.
