Abstract
- The article presents a case study of using information and communication technology (ICT) to improve pharmaceutical care delivery in Benin, West Africa. Topics covered include the health systems in Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) countries having enormous problems, the sources of pharmaceutical products in Benin such as public pharmacies and dispensaries, private pharmacies and the black market, and the pharmacy tourism problem in Benin, with an electronic commerce (ECommerce) system as a solution.
