- Relates the experiences of a crew of the U.S. Armed Forces during a mission where they lost their right engine during the catapult stroke. Loss of ICS and navigation systems; Absence of altitude gyros; Failure of the engine; Restoration of power for the plane; Landing details; Results of a postflight inspection by maintenance personnel revealing failures in the propeller valve-housing unit, the AC bustie and the voltage regulator.
