Economic Mobility in a Colonial and Postcolonial Economy: Indonesia.

The article examines the economic mobility of Indonesians during the colonial era and postcolonial 20th century. The relationship between stature and income is examined as well as the factors that affected Indonesia's economic evolution. Also tackled are the impact of political and social structures on economic mobility, the factors of migration, shrinkage in humans' height at old age, and the effect of occupation on economic position.
