Abstract
- The article offers information on high occurrence of myopia among Chinese based on the white paper National Visual Health released by the China Development Research Center in June 2016. Topics discussed include causes of the visual impairment, prevalence in children, and social and economic cost of myopia incurred. Comments from eye doctor Zhou Xingtao are also included.
