Soil microbial community has been affected by the various mechanisms of soil use, especially the final disposal of solid waste. This study aimed to quantify and analyze phenotypically, bacteria isolated from soil contaminated by industrial and domestic solid waste in the neighborhood Carrapicho in Varzea Grande - MT. The results were 88 strains of bacteria. The highest score in log/CFU/g of soil,of fungi and bacteria were observed in the dry season, which contradicts data obtained by other studies, where the number of bacteria was higher in the rainy season.
