On Art, Power, and Humility.

The article presents the author's views on the changes in his views on art after the terrorist attack in New York City on September 11, 2001. The World Trade Center was reportedly attacked by terrorist organization Al-Qaeda which killed thousands of people and damaged billions worth of properties. He explores his experience of visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art the day after the attack wherein he viewed various galleries. Also discussed are the themes of the exhibits including fear, humanism, politics in Islamic art. He also tackles his job as an art writer for the "Times."
