Abstract

The article focuses on need for pre oxygenation techniques in order to prevent life threatening events and improvement in pre oxygenation due to non-invasive ventilation (NIV). Topics discussed include extensive indication of High flow nasal cannula (HFNC) oxygen therapy in intensive care unit (ICU), pre oxygenation of acute respiratory failure (ARF) patients with HFNC and investigating effects of HFNC on desaturation of artery during Endotracheal intubation (ETI).
