Abstract

The article focuses on the security and the safety aspects at various airports in several countries, and the efforts to prevent terrorism. Topics discussed include the terrorist attack at Istanbul Ataturk Airport in Turkey on July 28, 2016 highlighted the difficulty in airport security, the absence of security at the terminal entrance at Brussels Airport in Belgium, and the responsibility of the U.S. Transportation Security Administration for the passenger screening checkpoints in the country.
