ОСОБЛИВОСТІ БЕНЧМАРКІНГУ ЕНЕРГОЕФЕКТИВНОСТІ У ВИЩИХ НАВЧАЛЬНИХ ЗАКЛАДАХ

Purpose. Identification of problems associated with inefficient energy use in educational institutions and analysis of methods for increasing levels of energy efficiency at Ukrainian HEIs. Methodology. Method of analysis is used for comparative analysis of the information field of the university and its competitors and identification of strengths and weaknesses of the HEI information policy. Findings. The study revealed main causes of excessive energy expenditures in public sector and ways of solving issues related to inefficient energy use in educational institutions. We performed analysis of existing evaluation methods of energy efficiency, energy audits of buildings, development and implementation of effective programs for energy efficiency increase. Originality. We studied energy efficiency benchmarking as one of the instruments to support and continuously improve performance in energy saving of universities. Practical value. A coefficient of energy efficiency (KEE) for comparison of facilities` energy efficiency according to the methodology of energy efficiency benchmarking is proposed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
