Purpose. Research of the current state of the footwear products standardization within the Ukrainian technical regulation system. Methodology. Special methods of the standardization process research are applied in the paper. Findings. This paper examines the current state of standardization of footwear products in Ukraine for Technical Regulation System. The main problem areas are determined. Originality. Market of the footwear products is analyzed and the growth of the imported products is determined. Practical value. The products technical regulation system is significantly outdated and needs reformation - among 46 existing standards of ISO 18 standards and one technical regulation are to be improved.
