Abstract

objective of this study present the weather elements, climate, water balance (BH) developed by Thornthwaite & Mather, by the climatic classification of Thornthwaite methods Koppen for the municipality of Lagoa Seca, Paraíba and the classification for growing banana. Climatological data monthly and annual precipitation averages acquired database collected by the Executive Agency of Water Management in the State of Paraíba (EFSA) for the period 1985-2013 was used, monthly and annual values of air temperature were estimated by the method of straight multiple linear regressions were estimated using the-T software. The wind can be limiting exploration factors for commercial banana crop of the cultivars have tall and are planted in sandy soils. In places with high insolation, the period for the bunch reaches the cutoff point is between 80 and 90 days. Under low insolation, this time cutting vary between 85 and 112 days after its issuance.
