Abstract: The article discusses the U.S. Democratic President Barack Obama's rhetoric towards the U.S. 2016 Republican presidential candidate Donald J. Trump's reaction to the Pulse gay club massacre in Orlando, Florida on June 11, 2016. Obama's perspective on Trump's call for banning Muslims from entering the U.S. is discussed. Trump's suggestion that Obama sympathizes with Islamic terrorists, including in regard to the labeling of the Orlando attacks as deriving from radical Islam, is also discussed.
