The Petroglyphs of Gemigaya (Azerbaijan)

The Gemigaya petroglyphs, in the area of Nakhichevan, are very important historical monuments. They are the only known ones of the ancient periods, dated from the IVth to the Ist millennium, and they constitute the main source for the scientific study of the creation and evolution of art in that area.
