Abstract
- The article presents the author’s views on active participation of civil engineering students lectures of engineering education. Teaching a required engineering communication course to sophomore civil engineers, especially in a large classroom lecture setting presents some significant challenges. Students face numerous roadblocks to engagement in lecture settings, including lecture/PowerPoint fatigue, physical fatigue from their demanding workloads.
