Abstract

The article describes a proposed Engineering Technology (ET) program in which Ivy Tech Community College and Purdue University offer articulated degrees with an emphasis on the food and foodstuff supply chain. Particular focus is given to the goal of the program, as well as key functions underlying a supply chain operation. Topics discussed are economic contribution of the food and foodstuff industry, virtual/digital learning environment, and the annual ET Pathways Career Summit.
