Ensuring safety education and research.

The article focuses on role of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) to ensure workplace safety and health. Topics discussed include academic degree programs of NIOSH in areas like industrial hygiene, occupational health nursing, occupational medicine and occupational safety; focus of the NIOSH Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing (AgFF) Program to develop solutions to for preventing work-related injuries; and role of the AgFF Program to ensure safe working conditions.
