A large number of machine-building companies, carrying out foreign economic activity fall under the influence of customs risks. Probability of these risks is growing due to lack of concrete measures to minimize them. Therefore, the article proposed and justified list of specific measures to avoid or reduce the likelihood of the realization of customs risk and establish cooperation between business and customs management. By using the methods of public administration was proposed and investigated such areas to minimize the risk of customs as new technical and innovative means of monitoring of passing the customs, establishing informational cooperation between the customs and the trade community, developing of sustainable and "transparent" legislation.
