Abstract

The author discusses the use of in silico methods for the prediction of pathogenic missense variants. Also tackled are topics on bioinformatics classifiers of phenotype, independent testing of cSNV variant classifiers and implications of variant classifier performance. Explored is the alternative and complementary framework of endophenotypes.
