In Vukićević and Stevanović (2013), Theorem 2 is erroneous when m = 3 k + 1 for some integer k . The correct one is given now. That is, P I ( G ) ≥ m 2 − 3 m + 2 when m = 3 k + 1 for some integer k , where G is a connected bicyclic graph with m edges. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
