Helen Macdonald.

A biography of author Helen Macdonald is presented. Macdonald was born in 1970 in Surrey, England to Alisdair Macdonald, who was a respected photojournalist. From 1990 to 1993 she studied at New Hall at the University of Cambridge, where she earned her bachelor's degree in English literature. She has worked as a teacher, poet, and freelance writer, and her first book, "Shaler's Fish", is a collection of poems first published in 2001 and reissued in 2016 after the success of "H Is for Hawk".
