Abstract
- The authors focus on the ineffectiveness of the medical flight kit (MFK) in treating children during in-flight medical emergencies (IME). Topics include the challenges of managing paediatric IME, the lack of medical equipment for infants in emergency situations in airlines under the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the need for paediatricians and commercial airlines to improve paediatric IME and ensure medical safety onboard.
