Abstract

The article features Massachusetts General Hospital, winner of the 2015 Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service from Baxter International Foundation, and American Hospital Association and Health Research & Educational Trust, for its Center for Community Health Improvement. Topics discussed include health needs of residents assessed to pinpoint substance abuse, particularly opioids, and services at comprehensive community health centers in three low-income target neighborhoods.
