Diseño y análisis de tareas de evaluación de competencias científicas en una unidad didáctica sobre el consumo de agua embotellada para educación secundaria obligatoria.

A teaching based on the development of competences demands teachers, who traditionally have been focused more on the transmission of the theoretical contents rather than its application in everyday situations, new ways of understanding assessment. In this paper different aspects that should be included in the assessment of scientific competence are analyzed and a proposal for design and analysis of assessment tasks with a competence approach, using the PISA model as a reference, is justified. All this is being done in a teaching unit for Grade 9, using the consumption of bottled water as application context. Finally, some considerations about the importance of evaluation as a key to advancing the development of scientific competence arise. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
