Abstract
- This paper examines the crisis management response of a Connecticut hospital during an anthrax case that came to be known as the “Oxford Incident.” While crisis communication plans may help organizations effectively manage crises, the findings of this study indicate the established culture at the hospital was the most important factor in the organization’s successful handling of the case.
