Method of selecting vibro-isolation properties of vibration reduction systems.

An effective optimization method is proposed in this paper to determine the basic characteristics of non-linear visco-elastic elements used in passive vibration reduction systems. The developed method is examined by performing experimental investigations on the exemplary vibration reduction system, i.e., the passive seat suspension.
