Abstract
- The article reports various developments in the mining sector in Asia. A resolution has been passed by the Mongolian Parliament in February 2016 setting the state ownership interest in Centerra Gold Inc.'s proposed Gatsuurt gold project at 34%. China Gold International Resources aims to increase total gold production from its Chinese operations to about 235,000 oz.
