Abstract

The article reports that Keith Allen Harward, a 60 year-old man who have spent 33 years in Virginia prisons for murder and rape case in 1982, has been released after the Lawyers for the Innocence Project has testified that the bite mark on the victim which was the bases of conviction was flawed according their forensic DNA test. Topics include the unreliability of bite marks matching for court use, the lack of suspect for the 1982 case, and the investigation of the case prior to his conviction.
