SOBRE EL MARCADOR DISCURSIVO A VER.

The aim of this study is to try to determine the main value of the discursive marker a ver when it appears as an autonomous element, between pauses. In order to achieve this goal, its origin, its meaning, its relationships with other markers and its main uses will be taken into account. In the examples analysed, it will be observed that, with a ver, through a metaphorical process, the experience of a physical perception ("perception through the eyes") is transferred to a mental experience ("checking", "knowing"), a linguistic action is expressed -the exhortation-, the discourse is organised, and interactional values related to the speaker's subjectivity are developed (negative appraisal, uncertainty, etc.).
