Applying a Trauma-Informed Approach To Sexuality Education.

This article discusses the application of a trauma-informed approach to sex education. The author comments on the development of a sex education curricula that contains information regarding sexually-transmitted infections (STIs), teen pregnancy, and sexual abuse or trauma. The role of sex educators and sexologists in establishing sex education norms is also examined.
